I recently was becoming overwhelmed with work, this lead to a stand still ideas and inspiration. I needed to get out of leeds for a period of time to help me get back on track. As i do not know west yorkshire very well I used the internet to find a route. I decided to hike to stoody pike in hebden bridge. The walk was 8.7 miles and took around 3 and a half hours, It wasn't a particularly challenging hike but it was great for refreshing my brain. It helped largely with my ppp self branding, Giving me more ideas of being out and about whilst doing work. The aim of the hike was to go to Stoodley Pike Monument however also the way we found something even more impressive. It was a forrest of christmas trees, the soil under the trees has turned red and the water was orange. This for me was the highlight. This is a important aspect of my personal practice as these trips away are compulsory for me to progress, through reducing stress.
