The Beautiful Meme is a London based studio which specialise within branding. I did also find information stating they was a York based studio but I think it may now be London. London based studio would be much more suited to me over summer as I live in south east London. They Have worked with some big clients such as V&A, Google, Design Museum plus many more. They was also Awarded Best Small Agency Brand at the 2015 UK Agency Awards. I understand a place such as this may be difficult to find work experience in however I feel I have created my self branding to be versatile enough that It can be adapted to apply for a range of other places also. Something which attracted me to the beautiful meme was there identity for the line, We touched on this within our way finding project i found it really inspiring due to the cleverness of it. It excited me when an identity fits so well. I just love the fact it can be used as a map. Other studios which I looked at and will also send my portfolio zine off to would Elwood who have studios both in Leeds and London, Thompson Brand Partner.

Studios and Idea
As part of my PPP I have decided to to apply to a few branding studios for work experience. Studios I have looked at are Elmwood who have studios both in leeds and London, Thompson Brand Partner and also The Beautiful Meme. I have only just researched into these studios but will speak to my tutor about maybe sending something in at a later date. For It I have created a portfolio zine which will bare my personal Identity which links into both my personal interests and my new adventure as a graphic designer. This then folds out into a cv then to a a3 sheet with a project I created myself called 30 minute branding. What I do here is Brand or rebrand something within 30 minute. So far I have done around 4 and aim to do more as the weeks go by. Eventually leaving me with 8 nice final designs for the page. Along with this page I will create a publication with every of the process for each brand.
