Learning to use the laser cutter

For my Interview practical, I decided to take advice from the interview and go use something I haven't before and learn a new piece of equipment. Yesterday I spent the day in the woodwork room using the laser cutter. I learnt how to use the software ethos within this there are multi cutting settings I learnt to use cut out, raster and outline. The advantages of me learning this new technique are I can now apply it to new projects, it gives me a new outlet to experiment with. I also am more familiar with the staff in this area which is helpfull for the future.
