End of Module Evaluation
Reflecting back over PPP it has been an interesting module, I enjoyed it much more this year than last. Because I feel it is difficult to self-brand while still trying to figure out what kind of designer I am. It seems much more beneficial getting into contact with professionals. However I did find this interaction with professionals unverving to at the begining of the brief, not knowing where to start. Now i have begun to get in touch with creatives I will aim to keep this up from now on in an attempt to build up my networking skills. I have found the more I practice or put myself out there the easier these things become over time. Last year, for example, I found the presentations very nerve racking whereas this year It was much less, I found this positive an evidence of my progression within the second year. Overall I feel the skills learnt in this module ar very relevant and necessary to my development into the industry. I also learnt how to use the laser cuter for future projects.
Studio Brief 1 - This Brief has alowed me to watch my practice and evaluate what I am doing wrong and doing right which alows me to enhance my design practice.
Studio Brief 2 - Has allowed me to gain more courage when it comes to interacting with professionals. In the future I would make sure I sent out more hand written work to professionals as after speaking to peers this seemed to be the most successful means of communication.
Studio Breif 3 - From this Brief I learn alot about working with other professionals. S.O.D alowed me to enhance my networking skills and possible create much more meaningful work to me.
